Framing Dedications 101
If you look at Schuber Mitchell company values, you’ll see three reasons why we exist:
- To Honor God
- To Enrich the Lives of Others
- To Make Homeownership Attainable for Everyone
As a Schuber Mitchell buyer, you'll see this mission come to life throughout your build process. We do things that other builders don't do, and one of our favorite things are framing dedications.
Check out a behind-the-scenes look at the Scutti Family's framing dedication below!
So what is a framing dedication?
Framing Dedications are a time for you and your family to celebrate the blessing of a new home! We encourage you to invite friends and family to come alongside you for this experience and to see what is happening at your homesite as well!

A Time to Reflect
We typically start the framing dedication experience off by joining together in prayer. The Scutti Family's Experience Specialist, Tyler, led the group as other members of their crew chimed in to pray as well. It was a beautiful moment of fellowship that brought tears and smiles to all of the guests in attendance!
This time for prayer typically makes the whole experience finally feel "real" and leaves buyers overwhelmed with gratitude and excitement for their new home!

A Time for Fun
After our time of prayer, it's time for the home to get its very first decorations! That's right. Writing on the walls and beams of your new home. We've seen everything from bible verses and even wedding vows. It really is up to the family to make this portion of the dedication their own!
At the Scutti dedication, the group went to town writing scriptures, prayers, and fun messages for the family to read! Their friends also took it to the next level by bringing sweet treats; it really felt like a party!

A Time to Learn
After your guests leave, your Experience Specialist will give you a quick tour and introduce you to the mechanics of your home before drywall goes up. You'll get to see how the frame is attached to the slab and view where the water lines, HVAC, attic, and electric panel are located.
This is also a great time to ask questions and get to know your Experience Specialist even more!
A Hallelujah Moment
Framing dedications truly are one of the most memorable parts of building a Schuber Mitchell Home. It's just one of the ways that we like to honor the Lord throughout our process, and the memories made on this day truly last a lifetime.
